He connected to his home's wifi. No reason the car won't connect to any other hotspot instead.

So, again, that doesn’t necessarily mean Ford won’t require a subscription regardless in order to unlock the feature. I really wouldn’t be surprised if they did. But we’ll see!

Nah, that OTA repository has been available to the dealers for months.

Don't laugh, but how do I see which OTA update I have? I can't find it on the app. IS it on the car monitor? Also, is the software fix for the HVJB in one of the updates, or is that separate?
