Has anyone tried replacing the factory B&O speakers with these?

https://www.crutchfield.com/S-mgcWgii4wPF/p_151OE65CFD/PowerBass-OE65C-FD.html

They are intended to be direct drop in replacements but I haven't seen anyone with these in a Mach-E yet. They are rated at 88db for sensitivity; not sure how that compares to the factory B&O speakers.

I've read where Maverick owners have had luck with these. Hoping these could be an easy cheap drop in solution for improvement on the factory speakers.

UPDATE: Adding some additional context.

There is someone that had luck replacing their door speakers with these components AND was able to modify a powerbass 6x9 woofer in the factory sub enclosure. Some interesting stuff that got me thinking if we could get similar results in the Mach-E.

I'm not sure what makes these special as a drop in. Crutchfield will give you adapters for the wires and for the mounts (which you probably won't need) with any purchase, so it's not like that's going to be an issue.

For example, I've had Infinity BeTas and Alpine RS65's component in the front and Alpine RS65 coax in the rear, no adapting mount needed.

Can't say I've heard anything good or bad about PowerBass. I'd look at the JBL clubs in around that price range, the JBL Club SQ/Alpine RS65 if you are willing to go a bit higher. FYI your stereo does EQ for the speakers that are in there, including some bass roll-off to the fronts, so a straight drop in won't net you a lot on the low end. You can get some good quality without an amp with the Alpine R's (that's what I had done originally), but depending on speaker can actually mess up the sound more than help it.

The Alpine R2-s65 components have a sensitivity of 88 (1W at 1 meter) and were a little quieter than factory before I added an amp FYI.

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking for the easiest possible upgrade for the speakers without a complete overhaul of the entire sound system.

According to Crutchfield’s website these do not fit the Mach-E.
If You haven't yet, Do the pull down that says "Do they fit you Vehicle"
You could MAKE THEM FIT, with a hammer and saw  .

That only means they haven't confirmed that they fit in a Mach-E. Given I know these fit the Maverick and Bronco Sport B&O systems, I'm willing to bet these fit in the Mach-E as well.

A long as the mounting depth is adequate, then you're probably right about the fit. I wouldn't just assume because it fits another Ford vehicle it will fit the MME. The specs for what the vehicle accepts at each speaker location is listed somewhere on Crutchfield after you add the vehicle, it's mostly how Crutchfield ensures sizing compatibility.
