I have a love hate relationship with my Mach-E. My experience yesterday has been by far the worst of the problems I’ve had.
I drive from the Philly area to the Jersey shore pretty frequently, aside from my blue cruise disappearing and having to switch to the “guest” profile to use it, it was a pretty normal drive home. On my drive back to the shore, a wrench and a car with an exclamation point as well as a warning message to service vehicle soon popped up on my display . The car felt like it was driving rough so I pulled into a rest stop to check my app and saw the high voltage battery and failure warning. I had about 30 mins to go and a restless 5 year old in the car so I drove the rest of the way. When I arrived I called the closest Ford dealer but they were booked for diagnostic appointments 3 weeks out and suggested I call roadside. I went down that route (I’ll cut this part short), after a cancelled tow and another company that arrived 5+!hours after the initial tow request, the car is back in PA at our local dealership. I have to rent a car since I’m now stranded in the jersey shore
. My Ford service center has no loaners available due to customers waiting for their cars and back ordered parts. I feel like this debacle is just beginning….
Has anyone had to deal with this issue lately? How long did the fix take? I saw some posts but they weren’t all that recent.
