Can those that have received the Power-Up OTA (1.4.0 and 1.6.0) list your build month/year?

I am curious to see what the pattern is for those of us that have not gotten any updates from OTA.

Build date: 04/21 - No OTAs

Update: I'm tracking this on a Google Spreadsheet.

I'm thinking the OTA roll out is by sale date not build date.

@JoeDimwit's vehicle was built the day before mine, but I get the OTA's a few weeks before they do. Their sale date was in March, mine was at the end of January.

When did you take delivery of yours?

I don’t know what my build date was. I never ordered the car. It just showed up orphaned at my dealership on the 20th of March. So, as a caring human, I took it home on the 22nd.

I am up to Power up 1.6.0, but I’m usually about 2-3 weeks behind the first posts about a new OTA.

It’s pretty frustrating that it takes so long to roll them out. I can see rolling a batch out to a small group of vehicles that encompasses all the av variants, then waiting a few days to make sure there isn’t an issue, then rolling wide. But it seems like they are going with small waves once a week(ish), which makes the process take forever.
Sure. It's pretty typical in the SW industry though. Google, Apple, Microsoft all do it. I would rather than be cautious since it's arguably more complicated in the car than a phone is. Your updating multiple computers essentially instead of just one.

I don't like how they use the "power up" and version numbers. They don't list anywhere which version you have so when you buy your newly built car you don't know if it has the update or not. I assume the new cars have the update well before it is sent out OTA though which is why we are seeing cars built in late April that haven't seen an OTA in some cases.
I agree. I picked my car up on Monday and my salesperson said all of the software was up to date but I'd like to be able to confirm that the service department actually did it.

Mine was purchased on 06/19/21. Built in 05/21 and was in deep sleep for most of the 2 months it took to ship it to the dealer. The dealer didn't do any updates before I got it. I confirmed that with them.

I understand all that. But there is no good reason for me to consistently be 3 weeks behind others getting updates. Especially when there aren’t reports of issues with a given update. If they update a percentage of vehicles, and there isn’t an issue in the first week, then send all. If there is an issue, don’t send any and fix the problem.

That only works assuming there are no constraints on the number of downloads that can be done at the same time.

So I brought her home today, connected to the wifi, and plugged in. Got an update within 30 minutes. ?‍♀

If they plan on doing this to hundreds of thousands of vehicles, they better figure out how to update less than twenty thousand in less than a month.

I don't think so because @benk016 and my car were purchased within 10 days of each other yet he gets OTAs before anyone else and I get them 3+ weeks after him. Our build dates are about 2 weeks apart too, his is older.
