I had PPF and ceramic coating done on my new Mach-E at Tint Action of Utah (https://www.tintactionofutah.com/). The price and quality of the work was outstanding.

I reviewed several different shops in the Salt Lake area, and Tint Action charged almost half as much as some other places for similar services, and had more experience. I checked thoroughly for trapped dirt, air and water bubbles, overstretching, scratches, lift lines, and misalignment, and I couldn't find a single flaw.

I give them 9/10, because it was nearly a 2-week wait to have my vehicle done, during which my brand new car had to sit in the driveway to prevent damage getting sealed in. There were also some additional delays as the Mach-E was harder to PPF than expected. As Julio told me, he had his first two Mach-Es come in at nearly the same time (another Rapid Red owner was a day or two ahead of me, hello if you're reading this thread), and the hood in particular is very difficult to PPF due to the deep contours.

Still, for the price and quality of the work, Tint Action can't be beat, and I'm quite happy to round the 9/10 up to a 5/5 on a 5-point scale. And, I mean, when you have a great product at a great price, there's going to be a waiting list.

I will definitely have my next car serviced here and would recommend them to friends and family (as well as readers of this forum).

For those that want more details:
I went through about 7-8 body shops in Salt Lake City, but narrowed my search down to 3 due to user reviews. These are the quotes they gave me, how long the protection was estimated to last, and the years of experience the technicians would have. Prices are for premium, full-front PPF and total ceramic coverage.

Tint Action of Utah ($2,898 total)
https://www.tintactionofutah.com/
PPF: 1399 10yr
Ceramic: 1499 9yr
Experience: 10yr PPF, 8yr ceramic

Pro Tint Utah ($2500 total)
https://www.protintutah.com/
PPF: $1700 10yr
Ceramic: $800 2yr
Experience: 3-30 years, depending on location

Luxe Auto Spa($4600 total)
https://luxeautomotive.com/
PPF: $1850 10yr
Ceramic: $925 for labor, plus $950 for 3yr coating, or $1850 for 5-10yr coating
Experience: 1-8year ppf + ceramic, specialize in higher-end cars

Pro Tint was only a little cheaper, and while 3 years' experience is probably plenty, Tint Action had more. Pro Tint's ceramic coating was also only rated for 2 years, as opposed to 9 years at Tint Action.

No idea why Luxe Auto Spa was so expensive. Their technicians were the least experienced out of anyone, and they charged almost twice as much as the other shops.

Note 1: According to my car insurance company (Progressive), auto insurers operating in Utah are legally required to offer custom parts coverage (which includes PPF and ceramic coating) with only a $50 copay. It cost me about $85 to get it added to my policy, but it should cover the full $3,000 I paid for the work. I'm still working through their claims process, though, so do your own research before you bank on this.

Note 2: I am not being reimbursed in any way for this review. Consumer reviews like this are important for businesses to find new customers, and I was impressed enough at the experience to stick my reputation on recommending them.
