I submitted an order today. In the confirmation email I was told that I had been pre-approved by Ford Credit for up to (just under) $200,000. Maybe I should have ordered a Taycan instead? ?

I had gotten a letter from ford credit a few months ago that I was pre-approved for like $175,000 for a new ford vehicle.

When I purchased the Mach E, the email approval said I was approved for $79,000. I've always wondered what they base that on. My income hasn't changed or or really anything on my credit. If anything my scores were higher now than the first letter.

mine cost 150K in 2009 now the worthless tax idiot says it is 265k. It is NOT 265k

Yes, my first house cost less than $200K. A friend who was a Chrysler retiree told me ~15 years ago that he couldn't believe he just paid more for his new pickup truck, than he and his wife had spent on their house ~30 years earlier.
