Yea, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a green like that for the 2022 model...

They are just rehashing things they read on the internet...how is the FE model they tested sub 4 seconds? Any respectable auto journalist should be able to discern between a 4.5 sec car and a 4.0 sec car.
If they actually read anything on the internet, the article would be much more accurate and contain real facts...

The comments there are very clueless, well beyond the "I had no idea this existed" state.
Online comments are generally clueless. That's why I rarely look at them.

meow what an absolutely crap article. Only thing of value was the embargo time.
Agree. Information that is readily available is missed. He says 0-60 under 4 seconds (4.8 for FE). I'd give him some slack but he specifically asked for questions regarding the car he's reviewing. Maybe I'm being too picky though.

I like how terrible the comments were, such as describing it as a "bar of soap". I also liked the Seven-Eleven employee response. The article author did post a fact (Mustang II) that proves the point that Ford can call any of its designs a "Mustang". Ford owns the brand!
The Mustang III is pretty hideous too...

Hahaha. Yeah, if you break rules in the interest of getting a scoop, you shouldn't be terribly surprised if Ford decides to allow someone else to fill your role. ;)
Reminds of when Gizmodo got banned from Apple events back in 2010. They bought a prototype phone from someone that said they found the phone at a bar. I think their ban lasted for 4 or 5 years.

Hey now, the Mustang II wasn't all bad, especially by the time '77 and '78 rolled around. Better than what followed in '79 in my opinion on the Fox platform. The late version Cobra's were the full realization of what it could be. Mine unfortunately was a base V6 with 4 speed manual. I still like that taillight design and how it filled out the back side.

And I'd have reference my hard copy materials (not going the easy route of Google) but I *believe* the Mustang II was actually a pretty solid seller considering all the things we hate it for now.
I'll check and get back.
