I just got my car back from the dealership after they performed the recall remedy 23s56 which included the updated HVBJB and several SW updates.

I noticed my car would simply start charging when I plug it in at home despite having preferred charging times.

What I did notice was the car was recognizing my max charge level just not the time frame that I had set.

I ended up deleting my home location inside the car and make sure it was cleared from the app.

I then plugged the car in so that the car would recognize my charging location. The charging settings in the car then displayed my latitude and longitude which I hit the edit icon and I added back in my max charge level and my start and ending time frames.

Needless to say when I plug the car in it automatically starts charging despite being before my preferred time. I do notice that the max charge level that I set with my preferred time was accepted.

What's really odd is when I unplug the car after a little bit of time the charging setting in the car will tell me that it will charge during my preferred times. But when I plug it in it automatically starts charging and the option to even see my preferred charging settings disappear.

Am I really going to have to completely reset this system again and set it all back up? This is so frustrating.

Is your SOC really low? Because if the car believes it will not reach your set SOC during the preferred charge times, it will start immediately to ensure it reaches the goal by the end of your preferred time.

I plugged in at 50 percent. In the past when I was low I would get a message that my car was going to charge outside of the preferred time due to the low charge level. I'll know for sure a later today when it gets plugged back in at a relatively high SOC. On l am hoping it was just a overnight bug.

To wrap this up, I had to factory reset the system to get preferred time charging to work as again.
