Private offer from Ford for $750. Dealer wants 11 digit certificate number from email. I don't have it.

I cleaned out my email a couple months ago so if I received it, it's likely gone.

What now? One would think that if Ford made the offer to me on my checkout page that would be that. They made no mention of a number, but the dealer says they have to have it.

They can search for your private offer using your zip code and last name. If it was truly registered to you, it will show up for them.

Or when you were actually ordering the Mach-e it had the total and a line item for $750 off?

If it is the former, then you're probably out of luck. All of those Ford discount offer things explicitly exclude the MME and a few other cars.

I had some independent assistance looking it up. Apparently it is not there, so the dealer is falling back on the required certificate code.

I wonder what the private event was? At the Texas State Fair last October I stopped by the Ford booth and signed up since they were offering $50 for taking a test drive. The email they sent also included a $750 incentive towards a new vehicle with a 12 digit code..

I was an avid follower of the mach e way back when. Not sure what I may have signed up for, but apparently I overlooked the offer at some point. I am going to call Ford Marketing tomorrow.

I was told by the dealer that the offer probably is only good for a cash deal, but the more I learn about the program I am finding that less likely.

I see elsewhere that this offer can be hard to find by name, but then it will show up by number for the dealer. Unfortunately, I don't have the number.

I had a 2021 on order but let it go. I then ordered on 10/2; 3 days too late for the 2021. The 2021 could be the source of the offer.
