I mean the last 10 years they built Fiestas for the US.I agree... normally Hermosillo goes by rail to a huge customs point into California. That said, Caut normally never produced for the US market.

I bought a bunch of Ford in the mid-4s and put in a call for more Ford at 4. It's now 7.66. I shared that plan on the Forum back in the spring.Hey Mark, if you play the stock market, feel free to pass some tips along.
I encourage you to look for the answers already posted. We've responded to this question repeatedly on the Forum. Look under reservation numbers.Do we have any confirmation that a reservation number of 30,000 really means there are 29,999 cars ahead of you? Ford has always said that they are not linear. When I ordered my premium a week after my GT I actually got a lower reservation number by 1,000. We also know there were reservation numbers above the 50,000 mark. So it seems reasonable to believe that a reservation number of 30,000 probably means there are not 29,999 cars ahead of you but something less.
Anyone have evidence either way on this?
Production has been underway for some time. MP1 will shortly, or has already, drawn to a close. MP2 was given the go-ahead a few days ago IIRC from some posts around here. MP2 was scheduled for 10/26 and will be the FE's, more FCTP cars, and a handful of other trim lines as Ford ramps up production speedI thought production would start in October, did it?

MP1 = "Mass production 1" = The "shakeout round" production of non-customer cars: ford executive's cars, dealer demo's, and cars going to testing (eg EPA for range testing)Production has been underway for some time. Except in this case it appears they will still be on FCTP (dealer demo) vehicles once MP2 starts next week.MP1 = "Mass production 1" = The production of ford executive's cars, dealer demo's, and cars going to testing (eg EPA for range testing)

yes, but the operative point is that MP1 was not customer carsExcept in this case it appears they will still be on FCTP (dealer demo) vehicles once MP2 starts next week.
Agreed.yes, but the operative point is that MP1 was not customer cars
I come from a business that has lots of TLA's. probably more than are involved in producing MME's even. I tend to forget that it's a foreign language to most.yes, but the operative point is that MP1 was not customer cars
Thank you. I have been trying to nail this down as well...... with limited success I think.MP1 = "Mass production 1" = The "shakeout round" production of non-customer cars: ford executive's cars, dealer demo's, and cars going to testing (eg EPA for range testing)

Agree. This appears to be the case now....Except in this case it appears they will still be on FCTP (dealer demo) vehicles once MP2 starts next week.
Well.....not 100%. I think a few customer cars slipped through into MP1 but it doesn't appear to be very many.yes, but the operative point is that MP1 was not customer cars
Customers or Ford executives? We know about that first Rapid Red First Edition most likely going to someone in Dearborn. Are there others we know of?Well.....not 100%. I think a few customer cars slipped through into MP1 but it doesn't appear to be very many.
