If I finance using Ford Options can I finance with a different vendor, say credit union
or bank, if I find a lower interest rate than Ford is offering?

Ford Options is only available via Ford Credit.

Its really a question for @hybrid2bev . I assume that Ford Options is specific to Ford unlike regular financing where you can shop and get the best rate from anyone.

to be clear you can do a "loan with balloon payment" somewhere else, but you won't get any Ford Options bonus cash if offered, and you wont have the lease-like "drop off the keys and walk away" option at the end of the initial contract that Ford Options has.
