Question about the interior camera from a privacy standpoint

If there is a voice activated feature like, Hey Mustang, I would be annoyed but not really concerned about privacy as it probably wouldn't be stored anywhere. Built-in dashcam and security cameras that are recording all the time are likely going to be available as an option.

All cars have Event Data Recorders and cannot be easily disabled. Pretty sure that information will be available to insurance and law enforcement if needed. Do people have the same concerns about EDRs as they do about in-car cameras and microphones?

EDRs don't record audio or video, so I don't have the same concern as private conversations captured through always-on video/audio recording.

I use a dashcam, but I mute the microphone and I have it facing forward only.

How does a picture taken by a infrared camera looks like compared to a regular camera?
