You probably just got the wrong battery. They must have put in the super secret XXL.

Canā€™t be a std range, must be an ER. Anyway, I picked up my Premium AWD ER in August 2021 -havenā€™t yet had a summer in CT to see max range. I only charge to 90% but my best was equivalent to 265.

Oh Iā€™m very aware but when these are posted completely out of context with no mention of drive or battery size, they are useless, I was just having a bit of fun at his post.

I did see 297 at 100% charge on my SR RWD last summer when I was doing an extended run of city driving. So itā€™s possible.

Had the car for three weeks now and charged it to 100% for a longer road trip the other night and this is what I got. I have a 2022 Premium ER RWD and when I bought the car at 100% the range was 270 and been doing daily driving with a charge target a 85%.
At that time when I got the Pony Temps were upper 70's and now they are mid 80's. I live in Central Florida so will see better range of course....but 322 is NICE!!??

Yep, the efficiency is amazing in the correct weather conditions, today in Florida got 3.7 mi/kwh on a 130 mile trip, initially it said I was gonna have to charge on the way back but didnā€™t need to do it, still had 60% left when I got there

I'm hoping this is sarcasm and not real belief in the GOM fairy....
Itā€™s on the car, it must be true! One thing I have been meaning to do though Tim, is to start a thread about how my carā€™s range was only 195 miles at full charge this winter. Has any one else noticed that? False advertising!

Iā€™ll show myself out now.

Haha - but I have definitely seen the range improve as the temps go up even here in So Cal - max i have seen is like 283 once on my Ext Range at 100% charge. Otherwise I usually expect about 250ish at most - i charge 90% most of the time and most of Feb this year I have been seeing 210-220ish range at 90% charge and only in the last week as temps are going up I have noticed 225 - 230 range at 90%

In all honesty 195 -219 mikes is my maximum GOM range year round. I live on the side of a volcano (Maunakea) and the GOM seems to figure Iā€™m always going uphill. Itā€™s why the GOM should be useful as a guide but not considered completely accurate. In this case, your mileage will vary.

Of course efficiency - and thus ACTUAL range - changes with weather. That's not the concern I am expressing. My issue is that people are believing the guess-o-meter's expected range instead of doing the math based on the ACTUAL efficiency to compute the REAL range. Sometimes the GOM guesses "almost" correctly but many times it does not, and way too many people accept the GOM's guess as reality.

For those that are computing real range, it would be helpful to express that so newbies and others don't attribute the range statements to the GOM's SWAG*. Not explaining that reinforces the impression that the GOM is more accurate then it actually is.

* silly wild-ass guess

Left Michigan a week ago. Range, prior to departure time preconditioning kicking in was 205. After preconditioning with a departure time, was 216. Right now it's 50 degrees outside in NW South Carolina, and range is 226. Was 228 late yesterday when it was 65.
