I've found a Premium about 30 miles from me. Some of the info on the window sticker seems to indicate it's identical to the one I ordered (Grey Matter Grey), Premium, AWD, dark interior, ER, but in red.

I see "Equipment Group 300A" on the window sticker. I can't correlate that to anything. And, their ER battery cost: $5,000. My ER battery cost: $7,700.

Does anyone have a cheat sheet on codes, for 300A for instance. I see no such code on my "manage" page.

Why the difference in ER battery cost? Price increase?

Your battery cost is $5,000. The additional $2,700 is the cost of the 2nd motor (AWD). That cost is rolled into the base price, while the ER battery is listed as Optional Equipment. The equipment group 300A is just the standard stuff that comes with all Premiums except 1st Editions which were 301A.

I'm looking for a $500.00 difference in identical cars....

Oh.... duh. The difference in price is my $500.00 deposit.

.....and Darwin smiles again.
