Have the car for 1 week now and wanted to share some real world figures and expectations.
The car is SR RWD.

1. My usual commute involves around 70% high way and 30% city commute.

2. My real world usage averages out at 2.7 to 3 m/kwh based on a day and that is on whisper mode with no 1 pedal driving.

3. Funny enough, when I took a friend for a spin in the city on unbridled with acceleration and braking tests, I was averaging 4.4 m/kwh.

4.It took me 7 hours and 45 min to charge from 15% to 100% on a L2 portable evse at home. The avg charge rate was about 7.5 kwh.

5. My 100% range was 191 miles based on my driving history, a far cry from the promised 230 miles.

6. The auto pilot is great

7. the android auto is terrible

8. Still fun to drive

Thanks for posting your experience and range numbers.

What is the weather like there? It has been insanely cold in much of the country last week, so anticipate some increased range as it warms up.

Well it's sunny here in Cali 50-70 F daily, I'm afraid to think what the range will look like at 20 F

Your range was 191 miles or the guess-o-meter displayed 191 miles? By all accounts, the GOM is overly pessimistic, so it's quite possible (likely) that your actual range would be at least 230 miles.

The GOM displayed 191, and then today I drove 22 Miles and it displayed 164 so, Not sure if it actually will hit 230, but might be a bit higher than 191.

Yeah, you really won't know unless you run it down to test it.

I'm in San Diego and have a First Edition so AWD Extended Range, and the weather is nice here. In my first 144 miles I'm averaging 3.3 mi/kWh so far...I've done a mix of hauling ass and grandma driving (when my dog is in the car) so I'm very pleased thus far. I keep Trip 1 running and don't reset it so I get an ongoing avg for the life of my driving this far.

I think the biggest difference is the climate use %, mine is 17% of battery consumption. Yours seem to be only 7%.

Which battery/trim do you have? Assuming a RWD extended, so that's about 290 miles of range at 88x3.3. Not too bad.

Sorry I forgot to mention that, I edited my original post just now to update it. I have a First Edition so AWD Extended Range. So I'm beating EPA by about 7% so far.

Your #5 reads as if you are saying that the estimated range that the MME is giving you is 191 miles when you are at 100%. Is that correct? Or, are you saying that you drove the car down from 100% and only got 191 miles of driving. I don't have mine yet, but there seems to be a pretty strong consensus from many that do, that the estimate that they MME will give you is VERY conservative. Just because it's estimating 191 miles, does not mean that you won't get closer to an actual 230 when you do the driving. If I misread this, and you simply are only getting 191 miles, than that is disappointing.

It's the estimated range, not real life range.
