The Trico replacement blade has the older (Ford) clip.
But it does work. Just have to install like an old Ford clip.

Just stopped at advance auto. The 15” trico rear wiper, item number 55150, comes with an adapter that can fit.

Thanks for this suggestion. I just installed the same wiper blade, and the coverage looks like it will be a lot better. My back windshield is pretty dirty, so don't want to try a test wipe until I'm driving and can spray some washer fluid.

Here's the original blade with the new blade behind it:

And the new blade installed. You can see how much further the blade extends in both directions past the dirty arc of the old blade.

Just came to say the new Bronco Sport ALSO has an incredibly tiny rear wiper.
I wonder what the fascination with putting these on new models is?

Here's a shot of the arc with the new blade. It's a drastic difference.

You're a lifesaver, @generaltso! Until I saw this thread, I thought I was the only one that thought the sweep on that wiper was ridiculous. I got the last Trico blade from Advance Auto near me and it was an easy change.

I can't take the credit. The suggestion originally came from @Murse-In-Airy.

Now that I have a rear dashcam, I see the stock wiper does not clean in front of it, I will be getting the 15" Trico - thanks for the tip.

looking around the Ford lot, almost all their SUV models have tiny blades compared to the window height. I don't really understand what the issue with that is.

Nicely done sir! I just picked up the TRICO Rear 55-150 this evening and installed it. Hat tip to @Murse-In-Airy.

Topped off my windshield fluid too, it took almost the entire jug.

So I bought this exact blade. Easy install. Drove in the rain today and the top 3 inches of the area being wiped by the blade was not being cleaned. Appears the blade is not being pressed down hard enough against the rear windshield to be effective. Have you noticed this??? Very noticeable from inside the car.

We haven't had any rain since I swapped the blade, so I haven't had a good test. With just the wiper fluid, it seemed okay.

What is the secret to getting the old blade off? I saw where it says to move it out from the holder then down, but just pulling on it does not seem to work.

It can take some force, just listen to your gut feeling if it is not coming loose to avoid breaking the arm.

Pull to the right until the click, then pull out towards the window ("down" means away from the arm, out from the lower side of the arm, towards the back window).

There is a post in the arm that runs through that slot in the wiper, first horizontal, then "vertical", but vertical is towards the window.
