I didn't see a thread just for recording results from recall work, so I'll start one and please remove or move if my search-fu was just not working today.
Just got my car back from having the windshield/roof recall work done by my dealer. They also performed about a half dozen software updates including enabling Blue Cruise.
The good: The car is much quieter. I didn't realize I was experiencing so much wind noise until it is gone. Nice. Installation work seems flawless, no misalignments nor gaps. Plus the dealer put it on their charger overnight and charge level was at 99% when I picked it up.
The bad: They had my car from May 3 until Juine 7. Fortunately Ford picked up the tab for the rental car. They performed a Master Reset so none of my driver settings remained. No worries, I'll have fun redoing everything. Also Ford Pass no longer recognized the car even after I reconnected BT and Car Play, and I had to delete the Ford Pass app from my iPhone and reinstall, which also meant setting up a new PAAK and reentering home charging settings. Again, it all went in smoothly but it was just a bit time consuming and I hope I remembered everything. I'm sure I'll realize what I forgot as I go along. And speaking of, I forgot to set wifi connectivity and my radio settings for the driver profile.
The odd: While driving home I set the Adaptive Cruise on. All was well, but then I got a Front Camera Failure error. It came back after a few seconds, but it was disturbing. This could be because the car was absolutely filthy as the dealer kept it outside (apparently) for a month. I went through the car wash and will keep an eye on this one.
