Recommendations for all season tires to replace summer tires on new MME Premium AWD

If keeping the same wheels, I like the idea of going up to a 235/55R19 tire size.
Michelin CrossClimate2 if you've got snow.
Continental CrossContact LX25 otherwise.

Is 235 the widest tire the stock wheels can fit?

In order to get my 2022 MME Premiums AWD ER to be built I had to agree to switch it to summer tires vs. the all season tires it would have come with as I live in Wisconsin. The car has been built and as of Monday it shipped so expecting it soon. I am wondering if any of you have thoughts on the following:

1. Does anyone know what specific 19" summer tires come on a MME AWD Premium?

2. What brand / model of 225/55 R19 all season tire would you recommend?

3. My dealer does not want to purchase the summer tires that will come off, thoughts on best place to sell them?

Sell your tires on eBay or CL there are lots of people looking to pay less than retail.

As for the replacement set if I was living in WI, I'd get a set of winter run flats (RFT).

I love RFT - don't have to pull over for a flat - just keep driving till you find a service station.

I have RFT on all my cars. Just this month changed my wife's PHEV from LRR ECO that came with the car to a set of Yokohama Avid RFT.

My BMW has the Bridgestone DriveGuard RFT and love them.

When my Lightning arrives, I will be looking at RFT as well.

My wife's PHEV got a 10% range reduction when we switched over to RFT.

It's a tradeoff, but I was so worried with the conventional tires (no spare) and she would get stuck on the side of the road with predators abound.

Now I feel so much more at ease as the RFT will let her drive up to 50 miles at 50MPH max with zero air pressure.

Well, I'll be. I can't recall anyone ever saying they got summers on the Premium but it is right there in the order guide.

I also got them on my Prem ER eAWD. Softest sidewall I have ever seen on a factory supplied tire. And I replaced them before I got home. I got good $$ for the trade in and I put Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus in the 245/50RZ19. This is a 105Y tire in an XL load. It is the same circumference as the factory tire.

Very pleased with them.

And they look nice.

Yeah like Bill said, 245 is do-able.

But also consider tire availability and the required XL load range.
