I was wondering what percentage most of you charge your MME’s to: 80% or 100%?

amd what does Ford recommend?

See below from the manual. On another note, it also recommends letting the battery cool first. So how long do people think that takes (on average)?

In order to keep my battery from degrading as long as possible, I only charge to 56.3%. Or whatever I can reach from the 110v outlet at work before my shift ends and I must return to the land where I have to pay for my own electricity.

It depends on how much you drive in a day?
I charged to 100% last night and have 8% right now.
Obviously not a typical day but you get the point.
If you don't want to charge to 100% each night then pick something around 80% or 90% and run that for a few days or a few weeks and then adjust if needed.

How I do limit charging on a particular charger to 90%? Does not seem like I can do it in the app.

After you've charged at a location the first time, it will show up in the app. To get to it, go to:
  1. The "Vehicle" tab at the bottom
  2. The "Manage EV" tab in the middle
  3. "Manage Charging"
  4. "Preferred Charge Locations"
  5. Then click on the address you want to set a limit for...
  6. Then there is a slider for setting the max charge location between 50 - 100%.
Another quirk I've found is that on the "Your Vehicle" tab, you need to keep the "Use preferred charge settings" option selected instead of "Charge when plugged in" even if you don't set a date/time charge window. For example, I set to charge at home at anytime to 90%... but if I select "Charge when plugged in" it will charge to 100%. I think the button labels could use some improvement for clarity.

The max I charge is 90% (except for future long distance trips) but most of the time I wait until my car hits 20-40% and then only charge to 70-80%. I charge outside at my condo complex so I don’t plug it in/charge daily but rather 1-2 times a week.

I cannot get the "preferred charging locatoins" to show up. It does not show my current location where I am charging or previous. My Journeys does not work either.

This is what I see under "Manage Charging"...

You can also get to it from "Charge Times". Maybe you have to go here first under "Previous Locations" and save one there?...

No locations ever show up at all.
