This guy refuses to say how he did it and keeps posting. I think he's just using this opportunity to show off his Photoshop skills. He acts like he found some magic setting that gives you an extra 200 miles of range but would make the car explode so Ford would immediately shut it down.

I’m voting “troll, nothing to see here, move along folks”.
I’m gonna mess around with some ideas on how he’s doing it later when I’m in my car, very least Ford should look into if this is a security issue

I’d probably submit this to Ford bug bounty if I could replicate it

When I do not have a Sirius signal, and I tap on my account info, it brings me to a webpage. It's headless though, so I don't know how to bring up the keyboard controls. It does have a back and forward arrow when swiping, so it's definitely a browser.

Yeah I feel like if you could basically get it to display a URL, you can make it show up as a hyperlink and then access the web.

Connecting a USB keyboard didn't seem to work, but I don't really know QNX shortcuts.

There is obviously a browser built into the Sync4, if you have a Sirius trial then try to sign-up via the settings menu and you’ll find it redirects you to a webpage where the swipe gestures available.

There was a recent update to Android auto with Android 12 that has disabled any "side" AA applications like this. Are you on Android 12? If so how did you get around it?
