It’s a bit of a hack job, but not bad for $20 and 45 minutes.
You might see God.So if I combine the reflective vinyl with my EL wire outline I could have reflective electro pony? ???
Add a lens and you can project a pony emblem into the clouds. So if I combine the reflective vinyl with my EL wire outline I could have reflective electro pony? ???

Stop tinkering with things. So if I combine the reflective vinyl with my EL wire outline I could have reflective electro pony? ???
I was think about trying to find and apply some sort of reflective liquid to achieve similar results. Here's the tape I used.

I printed and sized one of the logos from the interwebs, taped it to the vinyl, and cut it out with an exacto knife.
The upper part was pretty easy. The legs, less so. The vinyl is pretty flimsy after you remove it from the backing paper and it is easy to stretch/tear/misalign. I ended up tearing part of the legs and having to cut out a small replacement strip. But, you have to be within 5 feet to see that, so I stopped worrying about it. For the most part it looks completely normal in the day time, but when I'm standing close enough that I am looking down at it from about 45 degrees or more, it starts to look silver
I don’t think even I would go at it with a paint marker. But if you’re that brave, enjoy your project.I was think about trying to find and apply some sort of reflective liquid to achieve similar results.

My wife gave up telling me that years ago. But you’re attempt at behavior modification is appreciated.Stop tinkering with things.![]()
I might try this if the paint were "goes on black, reflects silver" like the OP's vinyl. I like the black pony look by day.I was think about trying to find and apply some sort of reflective liquid to achieve similar results.

I was thinking about only doing the outline of the pony. There may be a different product available.I might try this if the paint were "goes on black, reflects silver" like the OP's vinyl. I like the black pony look by day.
