Sometimes I get this warning message on IPC: "Road work ahead" but no sign is placed on the road and no work actually "ahead" but sometimes 40-50 Km ahead, or in places where formerly road work was. No sign also in navigation map with live traffic.
Most of the times with real road work I don't get any message. (Sorry for the photo quality, I was driving).
Has anyone the same issue?

These scenarios come from third party companies who put the details onto websites which the MME's nav system will pick up on. Sometimes it will pick up future roadworks and sometimes those that have finished will still show because they haven't been updated. If it annoys you then go into the satnav settings menu and turn off the relevant notifications

It all depends on traffic alert either via HERE/live traffic or via encoded messages in radio broadcasts (also on FM), car just show them, and depending on how much the local road goverments care about accoracy it can either be very accurate (like german motorways) or just be a real pain when someone is just pushing buttons and not care at all
