Rock chip/dent in hood - 2022 GT

1500 miles, I didn't even notice this occurring... and from the size of it, I think I should have.

A dent about the size of a dime, paint gone down to metal in various spots. Taking it in to body shop in a few days to see what the damage will be. Maybe the Ford store's body shop will let me pay with FordPass rewards points.

Came here for some sympathy... but at least now I can park closer to the door at grocery stores since it's no longer perfect.

I have a pretty good ding in my hood. The pointless dent repair guy couldn't do anything about it due to its location. I will have to repair and repaint. I have lots of paint chips on the nose. Maybe 100 or more?

The door ding on the RH rear fender pissed me off. Kids. I was actually sitting in the car when the high schooler opened her door right into my car. luckily that popped back out pretty easy.

If you drive these.....they are going to get some cuts and bruises sometimes....

Ouch. That’s awful. This is the reason I’m looking into getting PPF done on my front bumper and hood as soon as mine gets delivered. The nose of the Mach-E is pretty, but it seems to me that it would be a rock chip magnet.

I am at 4500 miles chip free. The interior still looks like new. I know the first chip or ding is coming. Once that happens I will stop treating the car like a baby. When I park I always keep the car away from other cars and do a longer walk.
