What’s stopping you from selling it? Updates can be done at the dealer as well.

Because the dealers around me don't know anything about EV's and programming. Can't sell with 3 pending recalls that's why! Recommend a competent dealer in the bay area, and I will sell it in a second after it's got all the recalls completed!

Competent dealership, maybe try Marin County Ford. Or Sunnyvale.

I received this little present overnight too; just got done resetting my charging locations and preferences as a result. Would it be too much to ask that the software not erase my settings!?!?

True sign Ford is not a software company. It can't hand the reigns over to Google fast enough. Though I use Android, Gmail, Maps, etc, that's not necessarily an endorsement of Google. I've got plenty of issues with Google but changing my settings after an update is not one of them.

Normally I would be excited this was done OTA but in my case i took my car into the dealer this week. They updated everything for me so no more 80% cliff dc fast charge (no clue when that would have been received OTA)

I'm sick of Ford and their so-called OTA updates haven't seen an update since March. still on 2.7.1. With 3 recalls and nothing but silence from Ford they can go to (you know where), Wish I could sell the damned thing.... FORD quit giving us the runaround!

You can sell your car with a pending recall, so you've got nothing stopping you.

I also received the update. Last night. Car was plugged in so it charged to 100%. Fun to see 285 mile range on the display. It apparently does remove some preset parameters; so I'll have to look around this weekend and set up the charging paramaters, ect.....

Got it also last night. Then it overrode my 80% charge setting and charged to 100%. No big deal, but strange!

I'm not the OP, but I got it last night and am not part of EA, for what it's worth. My Premium AWD ER was built December 2020 and I got it in February 2021.

Had the recall update performed at the Dealer yesterday on my 2021 Mach-E california route 1 extended range rwd. Drove about 120 miles and had the High Voltage failure. Kinda relieved to just get the repair done and over with instead of waiting for it to happen.
