Wow. Every one ever made. Software update.
Not necessarily. It covers every day of production but that doesn't mean every trim/pack/motor combination has an issue...but it could! More info will come later.

Thatā€™s where OTAs shine, I think they can handle it

EDIT: lol I was being serious, I guess others arenā€™t as confident haha

My (en route) car had a 5/24 build date, which is a slip from my original build week of 5/2. Hopefully this explains why it slipped so far and my car is not affected.

The wording makes it a bit of an open question to which side of the line 5/24 falls on.

Considering it says "Affected vehicles are identified in OASIS and FSA VIN Lists." - Does this sound like dealers should know which in transit vehicles are impacted already?

Yes they can run your VIN to see but no point calling them yet to see because parts aren't available. Lets try not to piss off dealers.

Would a dealer be allowed to buy and then sell a used car? Safety recall, so no?

Hmmm, not showing for my VIN. Maybe thatā€™s because I FDRS the bejizzle out of mine šŸ˜€
Yours was produced in Europe, yes? This is only for Mexico built Mach E's.

Correct, against federal law
99% sure you can sell a USED car with an open safety recall just not a new car. Rental cars have to be not rented until the recall is performed though. The dealer is required to disclose their is an open safety recall on a used vehicle though.

Notice the dealer bulletin says "NEW in stock vehicles".

Iā€™m glad Ford is finally acknowledging the problem, but this is terrible timing for me. Iā€™m moving internationally next month and wonā€™t be able to import my car if it has an open recall. I hope they release more details soon so I have time to figure out what to do with the car/when Iā€™ll be able to import it.
