You don't know that, no one knows that, no details yet on what is the issue, they just blanket covered all Mach-Es pending more information.
Fair enough - just trying to work through in my head if we need to change plans.....

I have driven over 9,000 miles with my 2021 including long trips. I would take it unless you've had warning messages.

I was able to plug my vin into the FORDEtis site. Looks like my Premium Extended AWD is included.
Damn. I just checked too and my Select Standard AWD shows it too.
Spoke to ford chat last night and they said I had not been included

I see you got the Mach e with the 1.8L Zetec engine 🤣🤣
My car has the 1.8L Lynx I4 engine 🤣 I didn't know there are so many different engines they use in the MME.

My car (3/2021 build) is listed for this recall. Seems it's a good probability that every car will be included. I really don't want to deal with this, and the windshield/pano roof that I'm avoiding doing. Might be time to move on..

Honestly this fix is less invasive than a windshield recall, at least they don't have to remove interior trim, as long as they put all 50 bolts back in you're good lol

Funniest things I've read today:

- "My car is part of the recall" - Every Mach-E up to 5/24/22 is at this point. While they may all be, no one knows.

- Discussion of removing and replacing the battery pack, when no one knows if the fix is software, hardware, or both.

- "I just looked up my car and" - Stop wasting your time. Life is too short to do such unproductive things. Relax.

Planning to do a 3,000+ mi road trip in three weeks with ours. Still sticking to the plan despite the small risk this hits us during that trip.
Thanks for the vote of confidence! We will very likely do the same.

@NotGreen75 - That sounds like an epic trip! Care to share the details?

Sure.

Don’t way to hijack this thread so will keep it short (will be doing a trip report once we get going). But we’ll do OR -> CA -> CO -> MI and end in Kansas. Possibly extending all the way to NY depending on timing.

I can't recall my exact build date, but I believe it is in 01/2021. I have a Premium Extended RWD, and it is showing on the FordEtis site.
