NHTSA website shows my VIN as being recalled. Now it’s really official.
Same here. Just chcecked.

Recall Status: Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available

Edit: Ford.com account still says 0 recalls at this time. Was just curious so I checked there as well. Figured the ford.com would be behind things though.

I will apologize right up front for possibly being naive but here goes. The cars manufactured after 5/24 have the new part number for HVBJB and the software update (my understanding.) So from my perspective there is no way that Ford does not push the OTA through to every single Mach that has been built so far. The only question in my mind is will the software fix have a noticeable effect on performance? My guess is for the vast majority, no, but for the performance driver they may notice. I guess my point is your Mach is affected no matter what. You will already have the monitoring software installed (post 5/24) or will get it OTA at some point. I do not like it but I can understand why Ford would roll with a software fix for a problem affecting 0.5% (not sure this is accurate) which the software MAY reduce further versus replacing 100,000 HVBJB’s which I would estimate to cost over $300,000,000. Bottom-line is you will be affected if you own a Mach. Will it affect performance - we will see soon enough. Perhaps someone who receives their Mach with a post 5/24 build will be able to give us some insight prior to the mid to late July scheduled roll out of the OTA update.

rcechinal,

We have identical conditions. I ordered my MME ER AWD on 1/8/22 with production set for 5/30 then 6/6 then back to 5/30. Now sitting "In Production" since then. Have you heard anything on why its not been switched to "built" yet? That should take no more than 3-5 working days??
No movement for me. Check out the 5/30 build week gang chat. One guy from the same batch (6205) had his modules populated yesterday. The first we know.

Has anyone seen a reference to a new part? In every notification on this recall I see a reference only to software.

All of the information that has been released indicates the campaign will be software only.

And it says " SOFTWARE IS ANTICIPATED TO BE AVAILABLE BY END OF Q3 2022. "

End of Q3 is not July, it's September...

Yes, that's all I've seen too, but this rumor persists. I suppose it's at least possible a new part has been fitted to cars built 5-25 and after but we have no way of knowing if this is the case.
