I went on holiday last week with lots of trips to the beach. The car is a mess with sand everywhere. I need to wash the car but I haven't gone because of so many posts complaining about the side logos coming off. Any advice on how to wash the car without them coming off?

They came off during a hand wash for me too. had to get out some double stick tape to fix. Niot very well applied, and the line under mach E is easy to get caught in a rag or sponge.

Remove them. It's going to happen eventually. Get it over with.

I'm not ever taking mine through a commercial car wash. Hopefully hand washes will be safe enough they won't come off.

Marlin will get nothing but 2-bucket hand washes. The line under my right logo has come loose twice - original and replacement.

I've gone through touchless car washes a few times and a power hand wash place once, and had no issues with my badges (yet).

it's your car and your call but honestly it's a risk/time tradeoff.

just don't go through a brush car wash because that's just mean to do to you car.

I washed it a few times and it didn't come off.. I would never considered washing it myself for the fear of a sticker coming off..

WTF this is embarrassing. $60k and you can't keep the stickers from coming off? People not taking a car through the car wash because the car can't handle it.

I'm still on the fence about getting a Mach-E and the more of this stuff I read, the more I'm thinking of going with a Lexus for the reliability.

I'd rather lose emblems then have bugs, sand and salt sitting on a painted finish that will be damged if they are not removed.

Really like my MME, but I doubt this is a long term keeper for me so car washs are excellent to keep a nice clean car and I ususally follow up at home in the garage with a detail and wax.
