48 month options, and I did get gap insurance. I figure it's the best bet to see what new batteries and vehicles hit the market with at least a minimum guarantee of residual value.

Oh, I definitely believe it is the weight of the ER battery and single motor. It feels like once her momentum is overcome and she starts moving she runs like hell. Going from 30-40MPH on the entrance ramp up to 70+ as I merged onto the highway was definitely a kick in the pants.
Hey Tim,

I hoping to get my MME in next week or two, in New Jersey. I am also looking to do the 48 month Options. Did you get the $2,500 incentive? If so, my salesman is not sure where to find it. Also, when I do the math provided by the Mustang Club, it doesn't add up, so that may not be the best source.

Let me know if you know where I can direct him. Thanks.

Jim

It is not uniform across the country but some have 1,000 and some have 2500, like NJ. This is if you purchase using the Ford options program, with .9% financing.

Options is actually 2.25% interest, the .9% is regular financing

I forgot to add one comment regarding the Auto Lane Centering: switching lanes is an absolute breeze. I put in the turn signal, turned the wheel to change lanes, and once I was in the next lane holding the wheel steady for a few seconds the lane centering kicked right back in. It was very smooth, very natural, and the car didn't fight me one bit. It was really impressive compared to what I've seen other systems do :)

Are these the standard rims? They look great!
Yes, the Route 1 comes with black wheels and aero covers standard. That's how it ekes out the little bit of extra range over the Premium ER RWD.

Gap insurance through my insurance company only costs $36 per year. Curious how much they charged you for this coverage?

Have you checked the camera views with the mirrors folded in? I think with them folded out it is too wide for my garage door and may need to fold them in and rely on the cam!

Also the car in your photo looks more of a tomato red than the Rapid Red cars in pre sale videos which looked more metallic and a bit darker> Is this the case or is it just the photo - or my screen?

The Rapid Red - appears to be a color available in other Ford vehicles - you should check them out in real life if possible. The MME in RR (like Inf Blue) appears different in different light condition. Tomato Red may be closer to true color (but again depends how red the tomato is). There are posts from some one from San Jose with pictures recently and I would say they are closer in real life. I have had it for two days (RR FE) and I have seen it look bright red to strawberry color.
