Seat memory doesn't always work

I have set my car so that the driver's seat slides back automatically when the car is turned off. However, sometimes the seat doesn't move back into its original position when I start the car. It will work if I turn the car off and on again. Just wondering, how I can make it work all the time?

Do you have a profile set up?

Don't know if it's related but occasionally I get in and the car uses my wife's profile instead of mine and the car seat moves forward on me. This has happened even when I'm miles from home and she (and her fob and phone) are nowhere near.

No I'm the only one who uses the car

Set up a profile and tie it to your key and your PaaK. That should fix it. The bonus is if it fails and you tie the profile to one of your driver’s door profile buttons all you need to do is press the button to move everything to the positions for that profile. ??

Even with a profile, it happens to me from time to time. I just press the 1 button to get me to the correct position.

Yup, I have the same glitch occasionally I use the door button about once every two months.
