Now that I have the 1.4.0 update, AND FordPass 3.26, SecuriAlert has been enabled for me. Here are some screenshots.

It released sometime today. Check your app store for an update. I know Android doesn't make updates available to all users immediately so you may have to keep checking. Not sure if iOS does the same.

I'm still waiting on the 1.40 Ford Power Up. The install attempted a couple of times last week but failed each time. No attempts for the install since last Friday. I have checked the in car screen and it says my software is up to date, but it is not at 1.40 still 1.37 I believe.

Is there a way to tell which version you have installed? Mine just says up to date.

What I have been told is you bring up the Navigation, click on the Tools Icon (bottom left of the Navigation screen) and then click settings. Then there is an option to see software versions. Not sure if this is exactly accurate but others who have had the OTA see 1.40 and I do not.

That is just the navigaion software version.

If you have gotten the OTA, it will show the 1.4.0 release notes.

Mine would continue to show those release notes until the next OTA was getting ready to go out. Like a day before 1.4.0 came out, my car went back to just saying up to date.

I had to go to my vehicle and start it for the SecuriAlert tab to show up.
Its possible that your car needs to check in after the update for the App to see that your car has the feature enabled. If your car was "asleep" when you updated the app, it may not enable that in the app until you woke it up and it checked in the first time.

Took a while for it to show up for me after updating the app (iOS).

Is this actually a useful feature? So my phone is going to buzz every time I open the door?

It seems useful. If you use PAAK, it does not alert. But if I use my fob, it does alert. So it seems this feature is meant to be used with PAAK.

Hopefully at some point they'll update it to not alert if the fob is detected as well.
