Seen on the Mach-E subreddit: Sounds like a Recall is incoming. Dealer just told me a stop sale was placed on all Mach-E's.

I mean it’s not TOTALLY unbelievable. Feel like we’ve been seeing more and more of those faults telling people to stop their cars immediately. Then again, the number of times we’ve seen that posted versus the number of Mach Es sold is likely minimal.

Even if there is a recall coming, not sure why the dealer would stop the sale if the car is already built. I would think they would sell the car but tell the owner they need to hold it for a warranty repair. I would be very surprised if a mass recall for the Mach-E was issued, this feels/seems more like FUD or a greedy dealer looking for ADM.

Yeah, Until there is an actual Stop Sale issued, I'd say this is the dealer being shady.

Although, the PAAK software update that went to Dealers says at the very top "NEW VEHICLE DELVIERY HOLD" and requires them to do the update before delivering any new cars. And maybe this is what they saw when they ran a report on the car once they got it in?

I can say when I got mine they asked me to come I later in the day cause it needed a software patch, but I don’t know if that was an official hold or not.

There was a Stop Sale to the Dealers months ago. Maybe this Dealer finally read his emails from Ford from February and March!!!
