Maybe the effect works better in person, but it's not as distinctive a difference as lighter paint colors. Don't get me wrong- I love black cars- but the effect isn't very prominent in those pictures.

I wanted the coupe effect on my Shadow Black Mach E to look like the coupe effect on the other colored Mach E's. So, I had a Satin Black wrap put on the roof rails and spoiler to make the sloping rear stand out more. I think it's pretty close to the rest of the pack. Check it out.

It looks like the satin helps a bit but still doesn't capture the effect as well as lighter cars.
