I am just wondering if enough interior protection packages are available - and curious if orders with interior protection packages are the ones that are being delayed in shipping versus orders with out this.

Good question, I didn't order it, not that I didn't want it but I didn't see it to order a year ago.

I ordered mine with it so given the time of the year I am hoping it shows up with it. Talked to my dealer today about the cover; he noted it is in the Canadian system right now but no picture or inventory to date. Should show up next spring ;).

Pretty sure I have a better chance of my dealer answering my emails or calls, than me getting through to the IRS. 😂
Oooh, that's really harsh -- on the IRS!

Just FYI, I filed my 2019 Taxes in February 2020. I didn’t get my refund until October! Yes, a couple of months ago. INSANE! They blamed COVID of course.
That does make sense since they extended the filing deadline until July so....

You guys are overly optimistic believing that any of the three would provide the correct answer.
1) Record all 3 calls, (for quality control and training purposes).

2) Save the one that gives you the answer you prefer.

3) Erase the other 2. :)

@DaveRuns

I was sharing the information that I received from my dealer today regarding shipping units to California. I thought this is what the forum was about. Maybe I should just delete my posts and my account.

I did notice that the sun came up and went down today.

I like to go by the motto that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it.
I’m sorry — I was trying to be funny...while at the same time casting shade on your dealer for providing extremely late news. It wasn’t a dig on you at all. Sorry about that.

Thanks Dave, I missed the humor piece. Apology accepted and I'll keep my account.

My dealership is one of the largest in Northern California and this was the email from the inventory manager to the store team.

I am wondering if this could possibly be a CA update since Ford.com shows Zero vehicles in transit within 100 miles of the Silicon Valley or if they are out to lunch. Not sure.
I am hearing tales of woe related to shipping product in and out of California due to the pandemic restrictions. I have been trying to get two trucks shipped there from AZ and it hasn't gone too well so far. At first, Ford told me they would deliver them out to California for me but I got a call today that said I was out of luck unless I was willing to wait for another month or so. It's a little crazy right now.

I have no idea if any of this is affecting the MME deliveries but I wouldn't be surprised.

I've noticed that the Ford.com inventory search doesn't show Mach-E's in any of the major Californian cities that I tested. However it works for the cities in other states that I tried.

You could try using the inventory search on each of your local dealer web sites, instead.

Just be aware that the results shown will vary by dealer. For some dealers, their inventory will show Mach-E customer orders as though they were normal dealer stock. And for other dealers, it will show only their customer demo vehicle(s). And for yet others, it will show nothing until the dealer has the vehicle in their parking lot.
