As I have 5 digit reg. and its legal to use short plates thought I would do so as it does look better than large areas of white and yellow showing. That requires short mounting brackets unless you have a flat area to mount to. The front of the Mach E doesn't so I bought a new bracket and will cut a piece out and plastic weld it back together, job done. The back end is flat so no problem, but I do like to use a mount so I thought I'd buy a new mount for the rear, the front was 40 quid, not to bad, considering the shape so I thought the rear being basically a flat moulding nothing special maybe 20 at most, not a chance, Ford want a 100 quid, asked the dealer to double check, yep, 100, how did they arrive at that ???
