So far, my wife and I are the only 2 MMEs going to the Asheville, NC event on April 30.

My wife and I attended this event 8 or 9 years ago. There were a few Teslas and a few others (Leafs and hybrids) and some vendors.

Ha!have mine. I told my brother what it was for and he grinned and threw it in the refrigerator. I guess I’ll have to warm up the V8 before driving it hard.

What you don't want to bring it on a flatbed?

You could print it out on a big piece of posterboard and put something like "Not my real car" or similar...

I stupidly scheduled my windows to get tinted the same day this is going on (didn't realize until later). I won't be going anymore. Plus, there are only 7 people registered and living out here in the sticks, I'm fairly certain very few will show up to ask about EVs, so I'd rather get my tint done than stand around with a bunch of strangers lol

For people registering for this event, they will contact you specifically if they want you to display your car right? I checked the box to let them know I can participate but didn't hear back from anyone. I want to know if I should make plans to get it detailed.

When I signed up, there were two options: Register and Participate. I clicked “Participate” so that I could display my car.

Turns out I might be there after all. I'm getting a full battery pack replacement and the dealership said my car *should* be ready before the end of next week.
