Signature Light Removal

I have a current unscheduled order in for a Premium ER. I also have access to Vehicle Visibility.

Looking through my order details I found a recent entry. "Signature Light Removal". There is a Premium at my dealership in front of my order scheduled to be built in September. This order also has it. There is a GT after mine. It also has it. In the Order Guide, Signature Lighting is referenced under the headlamps.

Get ready for more decontenting on the fly.

I'm not 100%, but I believe it's the daytime running LED in the headlamp.

No. It would say it was removed. My Lightning order has that line too.

I would be very annoyed if the signature lighting was removed. That likely means no LED headlamps either. You’re probably going g to be stuck with crappy projector headlamps.

Unless the lights are the same and they just don't have the control chip for the signature lightning LEDs.

I would hope it isn't the projectors, or that Fords gives a big discount for the deletion. Those LED headlights are wonderful!

The Mach E Selects have Led headlamps without the signature bars.

Right. All of the existing Mach-Es have LED headlamps and taillamps. The difference with the signature headlamps is they are projector style instead of reflector style, and they have the Mustang-signature tri bar look and signal wipe animations.

This would be a real bummer. A lot of brands go with unique running lights to tie models together or define a signature look for the brand. Guess 'signature' means something else to Ford.

It‘s more likely related to chip or parts shortages than saving a few bucks.
