Nobody has mentioned it because AFAIK it’s technically still in EA.Why hasn't anyone mentioned it? I was taking my sweet time getting another 1yr of FDRS only to learn it's been there 10 days or so.
EA is pushed OTA, as far as I know everyone should have these remaining updates in FDRS. The software is available to F150s as well.Nobody has mentioned it because AFAIK it’s technically still in EA.
Id presume you’re part of the EA program, if you’re not and they’re showing in FDRS - that sounds like good news for the rest of us.
All of the updates have not been released yet. He even said he edited the cars config to make those menu options show up. That doesn't mean its fully active and working. So odd, those that have done everything in FDRS said lane keeping feels better but not setting for lane change has appeared. Did you do it today? It is FDRS Friday, maybe they just released the final update(s)?
This suggests that you may be seeing toggles and descriptions of features your vehicle does not currently have.I did pull a 23.75's as built data to enable the features contained in the software.
I know. I've had BC 1.4 in my truck for weeks now. Ford did not include the config to enable the features for 1.4, but they're in there. I'm not surprised @Hammered was able to figure out how to activate it. I know him from the ICE forums and he has above-average knowledge when it comes to these things.
No, it works. Everything works and it works well. This suggests that you may be seeing toggles and descriptions of features your vehicle does not currently have.
Yes, I am aware. Props to @Hammered for the asbuilt research and tweaks to get it working. The rest of us are nearly there I think. Just waiting on some other OTAs to put the finishing touches on the final product. Like IPC graphics changes etc.
