Do you drive like a lunatic, or are the OEM Pirelli summers really that sticky and wear inclined?

I have been driving it like there is an egg shell on the go pedal for 99% of my driving (sick dog, then HVBJB guillotine). @scoopman went through his Pirellis in just over 4K miles. There are others who have not made 10K miles on theirs. I occasionally have some fun around cloverleafs (I blew up my HVBJB at about 3/4 throttle on a cloverleaf). I will probably be at the wear bars in another 2K miles, hopefully closer to 4K since I am waiting for wheels to come in so I can get tires. ?‍?
