I posted an update here. The brackets fit and I am ready to take orders. Orders close on 7/31.

Pricing
Since this is a limited production run, pricing is highly order volume dependent. As of now, it looks like pricing will be as follows:
Order VolumePrice*
15 - 19$90
20 - 24$80
25 - 29$70
30 - 34$65
35 - 39$60
40 - 54$55
55 - 74$50
75+$45
*All prices are before shipping costs (I plan to ship via a Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box and the cost should be $8.55.)

We're in the closing days of order taking. There have currently been orders placed for 22 bracket sets which means that with only three additional orders the price will drop from $90 per set (plus shipping) to $80 as we hit the next parts fabrication volume discount. Now's the time to get any last minute orders in - the order window closes on Monday 7/31.

I have sourced M8 square U bolts (as opposed to the original M6 versions). M8 are roughly four times as much metal as compared to M6 so they are substantially stronger. The OEM U bolts are ~M7 in size, so somewhere between the two. The M8 bolts will still fit just fine. I can see no downsizes other than that they're a bit more expensive.

Pricing - EDITED
Since this is a limited production run, pricing is highly order volume dependent. As of 7/29, it looks like pricing will be as below. (The $10 increase is due to finding the beefier U bolts.)
Order VolumePrice*
15 - 19$90 $100
20 - 24$80 $90
25 - 29$70 $80
30 - 34$65 $75
35 - 39$60 $70
40 - 54$55 $65
55 - 74$50 $60
75+$45 $55
*All prices are before shipping costs. (I plan to ship via a Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box and the cost should be $8.55.)

Just want to come back and thank @JohnFoxeSheets for this well-engineered and well-documented solution! Everything worked out well with the install, although I managed to break the right side plastic locator yellow clip when removing it. I'm not too concerned; the wall is solid.

AWESOME!

Heh, I broke the right side yellow fastener when I pulled the panel for my rear camera install. I just removed the corresponding left side fastener because I couldn’t align it for the reinstall. No noises or anything so far. 😊🐩

Hey Steve, I have extra fasteners (white and yellow) if you want some. I'll be down in the bay area bringing my parents back home on the 28th and can drop by or I can just mail them to you. Same goes for you sockmeister, DM me if you want some.

Thanks Mark. I took the opposite side out because I couldn’t get it to align. I am not experiencing any unwanted effects from either side so I don’t think I need to replace the broken one. 😊🐩

I am late to the group buy, anyone know how to order the parts from a dealer in Europe? I travel to Spain very frequently and could have it shipped/picked up there. However I can't find a "Ford Parts Spain" website, and the dealers there don't have a parts session in their websites. If I walk into a dealer there would I be able to order the parts at the counter?

As of the time we were working on this, there were no parts available anywhere in Europe (which is why we were working on an aftermarket bracket). It's been a while since @su-ch+mache tried to order parts from his source, but since it looked like all of the available parts were getting used up by production I don't think there are any available through dealerships. It wouldn't hurt to go to a Ford dealership in Europe to try to get the parts (see the first post in this thread for the P/Ns), but I am unsure if that would be fruitful. 🤷‍♂️🐩

By now after three years on the road, there are doubtless multiple totaled Mustang Mach Es being broken apart for parts in European breaker yards. One such large and well-known breaker outfit in the Netherlands is Boonstra, at www.boonstraparts.nl and I have in the past dealt with other such breaker yards, often in Finland. These front cargo ring brackets are durable and would be very easy to take off a wrecked Mach E. Good Luck! I suggest you use the Ford part number we dug up and which is listed somewhere higher in this and maybe other threads (there are two part #s because of the mirror-image shapes of these cargo ring brackets).

And while we're at it, let's all together give one more raspberry salute to Ford Corporate for their incredibly chintzy behavior in regard to these silly simple cargo ring brackets!

Yes. Ford deserves continuous raspberries for not putting the “U” in our SUVs. 😕🐩
