The end of Q2 is nearly upon us. I wonder if Ford will meet the deadline for this OTA?? ?

My audio settings reset every time I turn the car off. This is basic stuff... I’m hoping this OTA isn’t delayed, as it’s pretty annoying having to redo you Balance and equaliser every time you turn the car on.

Use the memory seat buttons. Push whatever number is not your settings, then back to whichever one you use. That will load all your settings properly. Its annoying but much easier than setting everything manually every time.

Thanks… I have tried pressing the memory seat button hoping it would fix it, but that didn’t work… however I’ve not tried pressing a different one first, thanks… I’ll give it a go… definitely better than a manual re-program!

That worked! Thank you.

This still hasn't been fixed, correct? As of today, I'm having this (sound settings reset) issue with a car I took delivery of in July.

Still happening to me and Ford did another software update that took 2 days and nothing changed. My dark mode resets to auto, Sirius presets disappear, settings such as alarm prompt I set to OFF are turned back on, walk away lock sometimes doesn't work and the estimated range is way off even though I've not changed anything on my end. These are all very annoying issues and they need to fix it soon. Thankfully the car drives fine but these little things are really bugging me.

Thanks for posting this TSB and others like it! Very helpful. looking forward to not having to switch profiles every time I get in the car to reload audio settings.
Glad to hear they are working on this as I also always experience the radio/SiriusXM settings reverting back to 3 rows of presets displayed after turning off and exiting my MME. One thing I have not seen mentioned is the automatic reset of the radio layout, too. I usually touch the four arrows in the upper right of the screen to display more preset rows and make the recently used application "buttons" smaller (not as tall). I prefer this layout but after turning off and exiting the vehicle, it reverts back to the default layout...much like it reverts back to 3 rows of presets vs. the 6 I have set up. Please add this to the fix.

Totally worked. Thanks.
At first I didn't mind so much that my equalizer settings didn't reload when I turned my car on. But then last week we put the fader on full-back so that the kids could listen to music without it playing on the front speakers. And the car decided to keep THAT setting every time the car turns on. I couldn't figure out how to get it to stop changing the fader. The memory button seems to do the trick.

benk016's solution, "Use the memory seat buttons. Push whatever number is not your settings, then back to whichever one you use. That will load all your settings properly. Its annoying but much easier than setting everything manually every time." Worked for me. What I didn't realize until playing with it a little bit was that I had to do that each time I restarted the car (hit memory button 2 or 3, then memory button 1 (mine) and voila! Also, if you make radio changes that you want to keep, you have to store them in your memory button position again. Hope that helps.

Yes, I appreciate that workaround and have been trying to remember to work it into my startup routine, but seem to instead be doing it later when I actually remember, at stoplights!

Boggles my mind that this hasn't been fixed yet.
