It's ridiculous Ford is now providing a second fob. The rest of us get screwed. Paak is a POS and they know it. Talk about screwing first adopters.
*cough* BlueCruise *cough* ???

Just got back from the dealer after fighting with them for the last 6 weeks to get a 2nd fob (no additional charge). I'm probably lucky this SSM didn't come out sooner because it's a license for the dealer to tell you to GFY.

I bet there will be a recall eventually unless PAAK works better or they start sending out OTAs more frequently.

I could see a TSB but I'm not sure how a second key could be a safety issue per se.

I'm not so sure, my Honda Odyssey had a recall and resulting lawsuit over glitchy infotainment systems and ended up giving people a free year of Sirius XM. I guess that's more of a class action thing though, I could see that happening with this as well.

I honestly don’t understand why LATER builds would come with two while it’s the earlier builds that have the issues mostly. Like why not make it retroactive? Totally mind boggling.

When I orderd my 2022 Mach E on October 18th. I brought up the key fob issue. I wanted 2. He told me that all 2022 models were coming with 2 fobs. End of story. My 2 cents.

Definitely seems Unfair to early buyers who are having issues.

How do you get that? Haha
Back in 2004, friends gifted me a Sirius (when there was Sirius and XM, not SiriusXM) radio unit. Of course I had to setup a subscription to be able to use it.

One of the choices was 'Early Adopter' for $500 you get a lifetime subscription so no monthly payments, the $500 was it, one shot, set for life.

So when I change cars I transfer SiriusXM to the new beast. According to SiriusXM I can do this as many times as I'd like (With a small fee, that they always say 'Oh, it's $30 to transfer, but they they say we'll do it free as a customer goodwill thing)

They don't have Lifetime subscriptions anymore. Not sure when it ended.

Ha ok, I remember when TiVo did this too. Wow that’s a great deal, honestly surprised at the innovation coming out of SXM.
