Where is this from? Are they lowering the price? Definitely not happy about this.

For those of us that ordered 2021s, this is BS.

It’s a ford bulletin for the dealers.

it’s probably a chip issue. Please note that it talks about hands free (the kick to open). It does not mean that the liftgate is manual. You can still press the button, which is what I do 99% of the time anyway.

It would bothered me less if we knew when our orders were converted to 2022s. I wonder if this is a supply issue.

I'm guessing the same. This might be the chip holding up production the most. Which is also why most of the chip hold cars are the premiums.

Still it's pretty crap...

It’s not an issue at all for me. I find kick to open about as reliable as many find PAAK. But i do understand the sentiment about it going AWOL,

It’s not the only thing that’s been changed either. ;)

Don’t know what to think about this one! Is the info from Ford network?
Gotta admit, mine isn’t all that consistent. I often use the button Rather than dancing the jig out back lol. Hmmm, what will all the ‘22 orders think of this? most people know to adjust the lift according to height needed, as soon as you buy it.

I wave my cane to open and wave my cane to close. It’s real convenient for us seniors.

And yes, it does stop when it closes on the top of my head when I was testing it.

It’s probably something I wouldn’t use all the time. Though today I had an instance where it would be nice. It just sucks to lose a feature we thought we were getting, as the car is getting built. We are in fact getting less then what was sold to us, and likely with no compensation/adjustment.

This is....bizarre? Also why was current online documentation not changed then? Manual has it, online specifications has it....weird?
