I'm just posting it because I find it hilarious. Ford has to release an SSM because dealers are warrantying wiper blades when the windshield or wiper blade is just dirty and Ford is sick of paying out claims for wiper blades that are fine. Lazy dealers. Wiper blades are warrantied for 6 months from purchase.

Most wiper blade performance concerns are caused by dirt, ice, debris, or otherforeign material on the wiper blade(s) or glass surface. These problems can be easily solved by properly cleaning the system. Refer to the new Pinpoint Test found in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-16 found in Wipers and Washers - Diagnosis and Testing. This new Pinpoint Test is applicable to all 2021-2022 Ford andLincoln vehicles.
