Sto-N-Sho Woes

I tried to mount it but the bracket that holds the LP touches the bumper. I am afraid that it is going to hurt the paint job. All of the pictures I have seen online show at least a little gap. I think mine is a inch shorter than everyone else's. Anyone else have this issue? What alternatives do I have other than drilling holes in my car? I am in the state of Nebraska if that helps.

I would also contact Sto-n-sho. I had some questions and their customer service got back to me within a day.

Ok so here is the story. I was working with them directly and they have sent me two replacements for the original now trying to solve this issue. I wanted to post here before contacting them again.

Here is my issue. See the first attachment.

The second attachment shows the front setup of the LP.

What can I do to fix this?
