Sub install using 12V trunk power

I'm wanting to install a removable subwoofer in my 23 MME Premium but wary of voiding the warranty as it will obviously require power from the 12V battery (and associated cabling to the trunk) on a lease vehicle.

Another option is to use the 12V power outlet in the trunk and use a lower powered sub. Anyone know the location of that fuse if it trips for any reason, and anyone done an audio mod on a Ford lease in the US?

The Ford lease contract doesn't state anything regarding modifications but need to tread with caution.....

Yes, several here have used the 12V power outlet in the cargo area with a low powered sub. The fuse is #71 in the under hood fuse box. I would say a ton of us have done audio mods to our leased cars. Many threads here on adding a subwoofer, changing out speakers, amps, etc,.
