  • The overall (US only) average wait time is 202 days (291 reported completed orders);
  • ZEV state average wait time is 207 days (136 reported completed orders);
  • Non-ZEV (US only) wait time is 199 days (155 reported completed orders);
  • Non-US wait time is 235 days (43 reported completed orders).
So, it looks like people in ZEV states are waiting an average of about a week longer for their vehicles. Or they're just not coming back to report their deliveries.

Oops. I screwed up. I'm on line 1334. My production date should be blank. I saw the wrong date and read it wrong. Everything else is correct.

The average wait for that specific combination is 199 days (with 17 reported deliveries). We're 133 days from 1 June. I haven't looked at build dates, just delivery dates, and I haven't looked at order dates close to yours (that would likely reduce the number to too few to be meaningful).

"What does that mean?" was intended to be a rhetorical question. My actual order date is June 4. 199 days from that is December 20. As my production is not yet scheduled and I've been notified that my order rolled over to a '22, the soonest that I can envision production is early December. December 20 delivery in California won't happen.

OTOH, my dive into the numbers has me believing that a December or January production date (with delivery within about 6 weeks afterward) is possible. The spreadsheet shows for each of most months (including the oldest) up until around May about 60% at least scheduled for production. I speculate that a substantial portion of the remaining 40% or thereabouts is likely data not provided rather than vehicles not yet scheduled. Since the rolloff in percent scheduled starts with orders around June, one might hope that the remaining June orders are getting close to being scheduled.

Or I am full of it and will continue driving the same vehicle that I've been driving since 2008 for another 13 years. :(

Not sure what to add regarding status, but Maryland is a ZEV state as is NY. Dealership is larger and high volume also. Since I ordered at dealer the order does not fall under my online Ford account, only they can see it. Also since I did NOT receive the 21-to-22 email regarding existing order conversion I had my sales guy look up my order. Was then he gave me the VIN and scheduled production date.

With your 4 digit Order Number and VIN you can then track on the Ford site Here

and mine 1123xxxx 9/23/21 Rt1 is not.
is it just luck?

I though they process line in orderly manner, I also thought that Premiums are processed slower then selects and rt1s

I see that one ordered two months after mine has a build date a month ahead of mine.......there absolutely is no logic, I think it's like production bingo !

I heard nothing from Ford on my order other than the email right after I reserved (so it has nothing to do with the order) and the “chip delay” email. Everything else I have found out about my order was information I had to pull from Ford or my dealer.

The GT numbers might be skewed a little to the short side since orders did not open until 4/27/21. There was a glut of orders converted from reservations on 4/27 and 4/28. People with really early reservations got production dates prior to people with later reservations or no reservations at all. Then again, some people without reset were prioritized before some of us who had reservations (still can’t reconcile that).

My dealership had no Idea I had a build date.
I went there to get a vin and they said they didn't have one.
When I showed them I had a build date they actually looked and low and behold......a vin !
They have never followed up or contacted me since I ordered.....and that day they sent me home to order it myself online.
For what they've done, Sales should go completely online...with only Ford service centers
