Got a call from my sales person this evening - it's finally here! He texted me the pics below:

It still has all the stickers and whatnot on it and, unfortunately, they can't do the PDI until Monday. But it's here and it's real! I am going to go in tomorrow (Sunday) and do all the paperwork even though I can't take delivery until Monday. Here's a brief recap of my timeline:
12/20/2020 - Reservation Placed
4/28/2021 - Converted to Order (GT non PE, Cyber Orange, Pano Roof)
6/24/2021 - Build Week of 8/16/2021 assigned
7/9/2021 - Build Day of 8/19/2021 assigned
8/19/2021 - Status changes to In Production/Produced
8/20/2021 - Production Date populates with 8/19/2021, ETAEndDate populates for the first time with 10/5/2021 (this would later slip)
9/1/2021 - Status changes to In Production/Sent Offsite (Chip hold?)
9/15/2021 - ETAEndDate changes to 10/31/2021 from 10/5/2021
9/20/2021 - Status changes to Awaiting Shipment/Released, releaseDate populates to 9/20/2021, ETAStartDate & ETAEndDate slips again to 10/27/2021 & 11/2/2021
9/21/2021 - shipmentDate populates to 9/21/2021
9/27/2021 - Status changes to In Transit/Shipped Rail

10/26/2021 - Car is supposed to be loaded onto a truck for delivery to my dealer 350 miles away, but apparently the crew that unloaded it from the train LEFT IT ON and drained the battery...
10/29/2021 - Someone comes out and "fixes" the car (probably just charged the battery) - rescheduled to be trucked to the dealer.
10/30/2021 - Car is loaded on the truck and finally delivered to my dealer! Too late on a Saturday for a PDI which will happen on Monday
That's it - I should actually take delivery Monday, 11/1/2021, 6+ months after placing the order. Just a few more days of waiting...

It's certainly possible. A person I talked to at the rail yard did say that 2 more Mach E's appeared to have the same issue. Do you know if your car got off the train at the Roper yard near Salt Lake City to be trucked in the rest of the way?I am wondering if something similar happened to mine.
My car, shipped Sep 30th, went through KC on the 11th, confirmed on train outbound on the 12th, still hasn't arrived at dealer.
Another car, for the same dealer, shipped October 8th, went through KC on the 18th, arrived today at dealer.
Sadly my dealer refuses to give me a VVR.

I don't think it's so surprising, since many of these cars sat in the sun for 2-3 months waiting for a chip. Then, once they were moved a couple times on and off trains, the 12v batteries were drained to the point they couldn't start the car again. Hopefully most dealers will replace these 12v batteries right away rather than new owners getting stranded within the first days or weeks. no offense intended but if someone thinks a dealer is going to swap out the batteries on their own, I’ve got a bridge to sell. Even if you ask I can’t believe they are going to swap it out. even so, another knock against Ford. Shouldn’t be an issue and they should be swapping it out before it gets to dealership.
Just got back from the dealer and things went very well. Will be adding my dealer's info in the appropriate thread as they did NOT mark up the car, they DID honor my X-Plan PIN and they gave me a very fair deal for my trade in! After reading all the dealer induced drama/horror stories posted in these forums and elsewhere, I was preparing for the worst while hoping for the best.Beautiful car congratulations
