I have not verified by contacting the dealer directly, but Frontier Ford appears to be marking up $20K based on this screenshot from their website.

That is for a car on their lot. They may have a different price for an order. Of course you cannot order a car until September 27. You could try calling each dealer to see what they say. On Sept 27 you can try and place an order and see if the dealer lists a markup. If they do then don’t make the order.

There will be plenty of 21’s to choose from when October rolls around. no one would want a 2021 delivered in 2022, at above MSRP, and many will opt for the order of a 22.

Ford has so many new car styles on their plate they couldn’t care less about this years mme mess. They should though, with so many beautiful ecars coming up in the next 2 years. They won’t want anyone walking out of a deal in 2023, trust me. Not too smart losing the chance of return customers In the future.
