SunnyvaleFord asking a 4k markup for our MachE

Contacted Sunnyvale Ford too because I’ve got a long time to wait for my order and found this Mach E that had everything we wanted minus AWD. Started the process to reserve it and then found out they wanted $9,995 over asking! Dang it Sunnyvale Ford! I politely declined and will keep looking and/or waiting.

That really sucks. I gave up on Sunnyvale Ford when I purchased by Lincoln. Absolutely poor customer service. I sent them and Ford a professional email note with examples of their poor service and all I heard were crickets chirping in the background. I will never buy a car from them or give them a penny of my money for service.

Going to Morgan Hill Ford to order a 2022 MME GTPE later this month. Everything that I have read on this forum is that they are honoring X-plan and no ADM. I will be blunt with them and ask for it in writing. Not going to play games nor wait 8 months just for them to add ADM so they get to have a car on their lot to sell for $$ to a walk in buyer.

Morgan Hill has told me they honor X-plan and don’t charge ADM. They seem to be an upright and fair dealership that actually cares about customers and not ripping people off.

We talked to the manager. No luck.

File a BBB complaint and also blast them with a negative google review. Hit up their FB page, Submit a bad review to dealerrater. Call Ford's customer service team. Call a local news station.

This is my biggest fear. I have a GT on order and if I wait 28 weeks or more for the car and then the dealer starts their BS I definitely won't take the car or buy another Ford product again.

The best move is to join Mustang of America Club and pay the small fee under $35. After 6 months you can get a X-Plan code if the dealer allows X-Plan you get it for about $1K less than MSRP and they limit the DOC fees. My dealer dock fee was $350. I got it for the X-Plan lock fee of $100.

I just wanted to chime in and say that we had a great experience buying our ford edge at Walnut Creek Ford. I had placed a deposit for a no ADM Mach E there based on our previous experience but found one for no ADM elsewhere. They quickly refunded my deposit and offered congratulations on my new Mach E. They really do seem to be on the up and up.

Sunnyvale Ford service side always seemed solid but I will never buy a car from them again. Truly one of the worst buying experiences I’ve ever had (not a Mach E).

Just got a call from Napa Ford. We had put our name down if anything fell through. They got us all hyped up saying they had one coming in until they told us at the markup was $12,000 above MSRP. Would have been $72,000 out the door little ridiculous. This was for a premium msrp of $56k about

Did you tell them you posted on the Mach E Forum and now hundreds of enthusiasts are adding Napa Ford to the list of dealers to avoid? Tell them if they sell you at MSRP only, you will update your post....

If you ordered online you should have a confirmation from Ford and SV Ford what the agreed upon price is. I have heard that Frontier Ford and Capitol Ford have no markup on orders. I live in SV , but went to Capitol because I heard bad things about SV.

I have not verified by contacting the dealer directly, but Frontier Ford appears to be marking up $20K based on this screenshot from their website.
